HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

.
.
Today's my moms' birthday.

I wasn't able to go home early because of my work. I wanted to go home early, of course. But I can't. Sad.

Anyways, earlier this morning, I didn't greet her so as to make an impression that I forgot her special day. But of course, I did not!For the reason that I am planning to surprise her, and yes! I succeeded!

So, what's my surprise?

Bouquet of flowers with a "madamdaming" letter.

Her happYness is simple like that.

She just love flowers.

And I love her so much, although I do not show or tell her that often, I know that she knows.

Happy Birthday Mom!

You are the best mom in the world.

Love you!!!

BE WELL, SASHA

.
.
I feel bad for my niece, Sasha.

For five days now, she is suffering from a severe mouth sore.

She also suffers from fever (on and off).

And because of these, she can't eat and sleep well.

We almost did everything just for her to eat even a small portion so she can take her medicines.

I know she wants to eat, but I do understand that she can't. I myself couldn't eat well when I have mouth sores.

She eats alright, but bread with peanut butter is not enough and it has been a week that t'was the only food in her tummy.

We tried to feed her but once the food touches her tongue, she'll just give us a twinge look and say "sakit, sakit".

How excruciating to see her when you know you can't do something to ease the pain.

How I wish that it was me not her, to suffer like this, at least I can handle the pain but her? Just a 2 year old girl? Agonizing.

A while ago, as I arrived home, my mom told me that Vhen (Sasha's mom) took her to a doctor.

I'm crossing my fingers.

Hoping she would be just fine now.

Please be well my precious niece. Hope to see your beautiful smile again.

BONUS!

.
.
Oh, Yes!

You read it right.

BONUS!!!!

Oh how I wish holidays come twice, or thrice or more often annually.

And so the word bonus

Haaayyyy

I do really love the word BONUS, who doesn't right?

=)

Happy!

PRE-CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE

.
.
At last, I found time to blog my pre-christmas experience.

As I promised! Here it is....

Dec 23 - After work, Mi Amore and I went to Mall of Asia to buy something on our favorite store "Stoked Inc.".
           - We borrowed my Dad's car for us to be able to buy as many as we can with no hassle in commuting or getting a cab after. We left Ford around 6pm and arrived at Mall of Asia by 8pm.
           - He bought himself a Dakine Bag worth 3,000plus. Me? Nothing. I'm not prepared to shop. hahaha!
           - After which, I told him that I was already hungry so off we go to Kalye Juan. We orderded Pork Sisig, Adobong Sitaw, Green Mango with Bagoong (Yummy!), 2 Garlic Rice and 2 Sprite in can.
           - Being full and satisfied with the dinner, we looked for a yummy and cold dessert and found Dolce, a premium italian gelato and bought ourselves the biggest size for Php110. Pricey, but its worthy.

           - T'was almost 9pm so we decided to go home and just continue our shopping spree tomorrow.

Dec 24 - Again, we borrowed the car for a less-hassle shopping spree. We left around 2pm.

           - First, we went to Five O Skate Shop at Bonifacio Global City. He bought a Nike SB Shoes for himself worth Php3,000 again (Yaman!hehe). Me? I bought myself a Volcom Top for Php1,900plus. Funny part was, he insisted me to buy a shoes same as his and I said, "Mahal eh!" then he said, "bilhin mo na, gift ko na sayo yan". Sweet!. So at the end, He paid again Php3,000 for my shoes.

In return, I bought him a Volcom Cap worth Php1,395 and a Volcom Lanyard for Php695. I also bought myself an Enjoi Cap same price as his cap. My total bill? Php 4,100 and his? Php6,000, and that was just the begginning of our shopping spree.
           - Then off to SM Makati Supermarket to buy some ingredients for his Leche Flan.
           - He also bought some tools in Parksquare.
           - By 5pm-ish, we went to Greenhills to buy some T-shirts for his brothers.
           - By 8pm, we headed to Peri-Peri Grill. The grilled chicken there are very tasty and not nakakasawa.

Mango and Strawberry Banana Smoothies

Spicy sauces. The best!!

           - By 9pm we hit the road home.
           - After arriving home by 10pm, I started to prepare the Leche Flan for Mi Amore.
           - By 1am, I am done with the cooking then off to sleep.

Tiring?

Very!

But, I was so happy.

Being with him just completes my day.

I love you, Pre!

A MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

.
.
Merry Merry Christmas!

Just 5 minutes ago, I arrived from my happY place, with Mi Amore.

I can't explain what I'm feeling right now.

I'm too ecstatic, too thrilled and too happY.

My Christmas now is complete.

Love, love, love.

Again,

Merry, Merry Christmas to all.

Anyhoo,

I will/must find time to blog about my pre-christmas experience.

SLEEPY ALREADY

.
.
I'm sleepy already!

Good thing Mi Amore's Leche Flans (yes! Flansssss) are already cooked.

I'll go to their house tomorrow afternoon. I'll spend my half day here at home, then the other half with Mi Amore. Last year, he spent his here, so it's my turn.

**Yawning**

Sheeez...

I got to sleep na.

I'm tired. Dead tired.

I really wanted to post how my day did today, but I'm too tired to think and write.

T'was sure fun.

But I'm too sleepy already.

Maybe tomorrow.

Anyhow,

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Happy Christmas to all!

YES! I DID IT!

.
.

Oh yes! I did it!

Last Monday, Mi Amore and I went to Market Market to buy a gift for my Monita. I bought a black bag from Follow Your Heart.

After buying, we decided to have dinner there since it was 8pm already. Off we go to Food choices to have steak in Sizzling Steak.

And guess what?

Yes, I dragged Mi Amore to where else? DAIRY QUEEN!!

I got myself my all time favorite, Blizzard Rocky Road with extra KitKat and him Blizzard Oreo with extra KitKat too.

I did it! My first time indulgence of Blizzard at Dairy Queen in Market Market (lagi kasi sa Megamall hehehe)

I'm screwed!

It looks like I'll be hanging out more often in Market Market now. =))

BUSY-NESS

.
.

Always!

Every time Holiday Season is near, I'm more becoming busy.

Busy in office works like business planning, year end reports, inventories, etc, etc...

Busy at home.

Busy thinking what gifts should I buy for each and everyone in my family.

Busy shopping.

And when I'm done with shopping?

Again, busy on gift wrapping.

Then tonight?

Busy cooking. As I write this post, I'm cooking Leche Flan, as requested by Mi Amore.

Oh, for the love of Mi Amore, even I'm dead tired because of the shopping spree we'd done a while ago, I'll still cook for him.

So tomorrow? I still don't know, but I'm sure, I'll be busy.

Aaarggghhhh!!!

STAR CITY ADVENTURE

.

Last Friday, Nad and I went to Star City just to have some fun and to be free from stress from our work.

You see, we are both into “out of the ordinary” things and adventure. We love to try different treacherous sports and activities that is why we clicked. Hehehe

As I was saying, we headed to Star City, get two ride-all-you-can ticket and then the fun begins.

First stop, Star Flyer. We love this ride. We actually tried it for a couple of times already.

Star Flyer is one of Star City thrill rides, which is the Philippines' first and only inverted roller coaster.
It has a 1 1/2 loops to be navigated in a 70-second run and has been dubbed as the biggest scream machine.

Going back.

As much as we wanted to ride some more, we can’t. Blame those long lines. Every ride has probably 200 people waiting for their turn. We have to fall in line, and wait for roughly 30 minutes just to have a 2 to 4 minute ride. So we just decided to enjoy those other types of attractions that Star City has to offer such as Carousel ( I know, it’s for kids, but we can’t help it, kaaliw!), Time Tunnel, Gabi ng Lagim (t’was not scary at all) and many more (I forgot the names).

Then, our last stop was at Dino Island Park.

The Dino Island Park is a new attraction at Star City with life-size dinosaurs exhibited that have life-like appearances as they are equipped with the latest technology called “animatronics.” The “animatronics” is a robot system that is placed inside the giant dinosaurs and which will make the monsters move, look at you straight in the eye, breathe, fight and eat. Another attraction of the Dino Island Park is the eruption of a volcano, and as you go out, you will see a 40-feet waterfall. There’s also a complete dinosaur skeleton at the Dino island Park. Entrance to the Dino Island Park costs 100 pesos

Before we went home, we had midnight (t’was 12 am already) snack at Greenwich. We ordered Monster cheese and pepperoni in thin crust and Buko Pandan Tropicoolers.

Again, happYness. We have quality time again, talking and laughing our heart out.

Then we went home at around 1:30 in the morning.

Outcome?

PUYAT!

Yes! We have work in the morning.

At least we had soo much fun.

28th

.
...

Today, Nad and I are celebrating our 28 months of being together.

28 months of ups and downs.

28 months of being loyal with each other.

28 months of happYness.

28 months of love, love, and more love.

I love him so much.

Well, I could live without him (it's not easy, though) but I already chose to live with him.

We both can't imagine ourselves being with someone else's arms.

So there......

I love you, Pre! HappY 28th months.

NOT EMPTY ANYMORE

.
.
Oh Yes!

I am not empty anymore.

It means, the (petty) fight is over.

We both said "sorry" and promise we won't let "it" happen anymore.

I am so happY.

So happY, that we went to our happY place, ate dinner and went to Star City.

We had a great time.

We definitely missed each other.

Love, Love, Love!

Anyways, I would write another post for our Star City experience.

EMPTY

Have you had the feeling that even you keep yourself busy, still, you feel empty?

I did. For almost three days now.

I have been very busy this past few days because of Business Planning and Year End Reports.

My organizer is full of itineraries.

My phone kept on ringing, reminding me of the meetings that I should attend.

Hectic, in short.

Still, in the middle of those, I will pause, then, EMPTY.

Today, is our Christmas Party and everybody is happy and excited.

But ME?, Nah! I don't feel like attending the party. I'm not in the mood for partying.

Actually, I'm not in the mood for smiling, laughing, greeting people and even talking.

I just want to work, work, and work more.

Workaholic? NO!

I just dont want to have IDLE time. I really dont.

I'm scared that I will just breakdown and cry.

NO!, not here in my office.

Maybe tonight, in my room, where I can be alone.

I hate this, I am not used to this.

EMPTY?. Yes. I am.

CAN'T THINK

I can't think right now.

Just arrived home from office.

I spent the whole day in the conference room for our Business Planning.

It's like my brain was squeezed, eyes were burned and body was beaten.

I can't think of anything right now.

DAIRY QUEEN

Good news to all Dairy Queen lovers!!

They opened a new franchise at Market Market.

HappYness!!!!

Now, I don't have to drag my ass to Megamall just to have Blizzard (rocky road or butterfinger with extra kitkat toppings).

Blizzard

Ohmalawd!!!!

My diet will be doomed!

I want! I want!NOW!!

HappYness.

Last night, my Pare had his haircut in Bruno's Barbers in Bonifacio Global City.

I thought that he just want his hair to be trimmed. I didn't know that he had his hair hot oiled.

So that's the reason why I waited for an hour.

Anyway, he paid Php 980.00 for the trim and hot oil (with massage) plus a Php 100.00 for the tip. (Galante!)

After Bruno's, we decided to eat dinner as it is almost 8:30pm and Reyes Barbeque is the nearest resto we could find. We ordered Sotanghon soup, Ensaladang Talong ( must try!) Squid meal and Pork Liempo Meal.

Happiness sinked in, this is quality time. We enjoyed every minute of it. We ate, talked, smiled, laughed and stared at each other.

Then, it's time to go home. I don't want to go home, not yet. But we need to go home as we have work tomorrow morning. We'll find time again and I am hoping it will be soon.

Summing all up, we went home and slept with a BIG smile.

=)

Waiting, but not in vain. Again.

LOCATION: Bruno's Barbers in Bonifacio Global City

As I write this blog, my boyfriend is having his haircut here in Bruno's Barbers.

Always, from the day we are officialy MAGPARE, I always accompany him whenever he gets his haircut. Same as mine.

He never get to have his own stylist nor he never stayed in just ONE barber shop so his hair tends to have different styles every haircut.

Unlike me, I have my own stylist but this stylist is not working on a high-end salon. She just own a little parlor near our house. She take care not just my hair also my nails. I NEVER allowed anyone to do my nails but her. I don't know but I'm a little scared when it comes to my nails.

Hayyyy!!

I have to go, he's done already with the trimming and now for the washing (LABA? hahah!)
I know, this was a short post. Next time, I'll make sure that when I blog, I won't open many too many tabs. Promise!  =)

Until next post!

Waiting, but not in vain.

As I write this, my boyfriend is upstairs and working overtime for almost 2 hours.

So as not to disturb him, I decided to wait here in our VIP lounge, and so I can also write and update my posts here.

I usually wait for him not just because I can have a FREE ride home, but to also have time to be with him even for just a good 15 minutes.

You see, even we work on the same office, we harldy see each other because of the load we have. Considering that I am in the ground floor and he's just on the 3rd. Although we eat lunch together, its not enough for us. WE want quality time together.

And now, I have to end this post because he just texted me that we are going home already. HAPPINESS!!!

Until next post!

Casa Armas Tapas Bar Y Restaurante

Last birthday celebration of my boyfriends' mom was a dinner at a fine dine resto located in Greenbelt 3.

Actually, we just settled into this resto as to others are jampacked and we are starving already. We first went to Crocodile Grill but we still have to wait so on to Oody's ( so love this resto! ), but to no avail.

Then, my bf saw Casa Armas Tapas Bar Y Restaurante, a resto with a very unique facade, inside is a spanish-era inspired ambiance.

And because we are already starving to death, we decided to have our dinner there. We sat on the table with poofy chair ( what i mean is couch ) then the waiter approached us for our order.

Its our first,  so we have no idea what food to order and also our (me and his family) first to have dinner at a "VERY" fine dine restaurant.
So then the waiter started to mumble words we cant understand but Im sure that he's asking what appetizer and main course should we order. Mumbling because he's almost whispering or should I say "eating his words" when he speaks to us. But then again, maybe, just maybe, he is having a hard time to speak in english.

We ordered, Patatas con Chorizo (potatoes with spanish sausage stew) for the appetizer, Paella Valenciana (paella with pork, chicken, seafood and vegetables) and Angus Beef for our main course.

While waiting for our orders, the waiter served us a basket of bread and butter. Then after a while, the Patatas con Chorizo was served next. It was good, even the fact that it was just potatoes and tomato sauce, it was still good. So Paella Valenciana was next. It was very good. Not the typical Paella ( I think ).  Then last served was the Angus Beef. It was cooked right in front of us so we have the say if we like it rare, medium rare or well-done. It was VERY VERY GOOD. The beef was tender, so tender that you really dont have to chew it because its like melting in your mouth.

While we are enjoying the food, a male duo performer sang songs of our choice and boy, they are good. We gave them a tip afterwards.

Our bill is a whopping Php 3oooplus, a bit pricey but its worth it.

I wont eat there again though not because of the food but because of the price, but if someone will treat me, why not? haha!

DINNER @ Zhu

Last night, my boyfriend and I had dinner at Zhu, a Chinese Restaurant @ the Fort.

Specialties : Roast Duck; Mixed Vegetables Crispy Noodles; Seafood Crispy Noodles; Yangchow Fried Rice; Seafood White Sauce Baked Rice; Curry Beef Baked Rice; Soft Beancurd w/ Century Egg; Spicy Chinese Tito Salad; Shanghai Xiao Long Pao; H.K Asado Bun; Scallop Dumplings; Hakaw and Siomai and Fried Taro Prawn.
Location : Ground Level, 32nd and 5th Bldg., Fort Bonifacio Global City Taguig

You can't help but think that this is a Gloria-Maris affiliated restaurant because of the distinct similarity of the menu options. As for the price, it's not expensive, but it's not cheap also.

We always loved the food there and the people as well. They also have Shabu-Shabu. Zhu Restaurant is perfect for family reunions, get-together with friends and other occasions.
After seated, they served a complimentary plate full of seafood crackers with vinegar (that's why we love it there hahaha!). We ordered chicken feet, as usual, stir fried noodles, butter garlic prawns and four seasons shake ( a must-try!). After waiting a good 8 minutes, our food is served already (fast huh!).

.........................................
On a side note:
After dinner, we headed to the basement parking to get Zaido (our beloved motorcycle).  While getting our helmets on our heads, a brand new Mercedez arrived and tried to park beside Zaido. A novice driver as he is (I think!), his side mirror bumped our side mirror. The driver run his window down and said " Sorry ha?". WOW!! A man with a brand new Mercedez apologizing to us because he bumped our side mirror? He must be a good man.

Well, I have nothing against rich people but they really tend to discriminate others especially normal people like us.

But the incident changed something on my perspective.

Not all rich people are the same.

TYPHOON SANTI and DENGUE

This is just a REPOST from my notes on facebook. This happened last October 30 to November 6.
...............................
Friday last week, I started to feel sick, but I still managed (i have to) to go to work that day. I didn't mind much the sickness that I even worked overtime. Saturday morning came where Typhoon Santi is taking Manila down and the morning that I really feel awful. My best friend texted me and asking me if I will be able to go to work. NO!, are you kidding me?, with that wind and rain?

Anways, by 10AM, Typhoon Santi finally set off to South China Sea (thank God), and everyone starts to text me that they will be going to work. Scared that my holiday wont be paid, i went to office and worked. BIG MISTAKE!!! When its time to go home, sheeezzzz, I felt like I'm inside a microwave oven and cooking my butt off.
I started to have chills that night even I'm on my thickest jacket, thickest socks and thickest pajamas. Sunday morning I'm on the couch watching TV suddenly I felt my nose is clogged with something, I stood up and went to the bathroom and found out that my nose is not just clogged with SOMETHING, its clogged with BLOOD!!! That was the first nose bleeding that day. Monday morning, the second nose bleeding experience when I was in my room, reading a book.

Feeling nauseated, I slept early that night. In the middle of my sleep, I started feeling attacked by a stern running nose that I got up to look for tissue, and to my surprise my nose is bleeding again... and this time it was not just bleeding, it was bleeding intensely... I also found out that my pillows and bed sheet are tainted with blood. I was really scared that I didn't get to sleep again.

Tuesday morning, I asked my PARE if he could accompany me to Intellicare for check-up as I was so scared about the bleeding last night. Off to Intellicare, got several blood tests (again with the blood) and found out that results was ok. Dra. Ramos advised me that it's better to have the tests redone so as to be sure that I am really just suffering from a normal fever. Wednesday morning, my mom and I went again to Intellicare to have the bloodtest again. Results came in, then confirmed.... I have DENGUE FEVER. My platelet count drops up to 40 notch and my WBC is low. My doctor advised me to have the week off to monitor my platelet everyday.(YES!! i have to be pricked everyday on the same area on my arm.OUCH!!) Thursday morning, off to Intellicare again for the blood tests, results were just the same as yesterday though my platelets is still 237.

Again, I have to go back again tomorrow for another bloodtests. Friday morning, which is today, I'm nervous and really praying that my platelet counts will be normal again. and IT WAS.... (hallelujah!!!) I'm back......wohhhooooo.... My platelet is normal again (280)..

So much for a week off from work.....

Tons of workload when I go back to work tomorrow....sheeeezzz

Kidding aside,

I just want to remind and warn everyone that you should be aware of DENGUE...

It's a serious virus that may kill...

So please, be careful and take extra precautions.....

Finally. My new home.

After so many months of searching what template to use, I finally found this "easy-to-use" and "friendly" blog site for novice blogger like me. It actually took me four months to finally have my own blog site not just because of my dilemma in finding what template to use but also finding audacity to post my blogs.

You see, everytime that something pops in to my mind, I tend to put it in my diary then stays there. I decided to have my own blog to be able to share my instantaneous thoughts and a bit more so it won't just stay in my diaries.

I'm so thrilled and excited that I have my own blog (soon my own domain).
I'll try to update this everyday so I'm hoping you'll find time reading this blog.

Thank you!!
